The History of the Project

This project began in 2012 and a feasibility study, to identify user group requirements, experience from other local community centres, likely building costs and possible sources of finance.  An interim report was given to the Annual Parish Meeting in May 2013 and a Final Report, published in September 2013.

Several other documents have been developed since and these are listed here.

    The report was produced by a group of residents who were invited by St Luke’s Parochial Church Council to study the future of the St Mark’s building and site.

    This follows the general structure for business plans for village halls and community centres as laid out by the ACRE Information Sheet N0. 28.
